MAKE CHANGE A POSITIVE PART OF YOUR LIFE

You must avoid breaking when things don’t go your way.
You’ll always be secure to the degree that you accept change.
True security comes from being able to bend your insecurities.

Recognize and accept that change will inevitably take place.
You’ll become secure, not by standing still, but by growing,
moving, and staying energized.
Be secure in the knowledge that you can deal with anything
that happens to you.

Have the courage to bet on your ideas.
Take some calculated risks and act on your dreams.
There is no permanent security on this earth, there is only opportunity.

Ronin swimming

Posted in Ronin tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , at 3:32 pm by Melissa Bailey

This is from last weekend, but I had to mark it down before I forget.

We were at my hubby’s cousin’s wedding last weekend and stayed overnight at the hotel. In the morning, my hubby went down to the pool with both kids so our oldest (five-years) could swim a bit. He had our youngest (6-months) in the stroller, and Ronin was flipping out.

A little backstory: Every night I give Ronin, 6 months, a bath in the tub. He loves to swim around and play with tub toys.

So, when he saw the pool and all the water, he thought “Oh Tubby-Time!!” So, hubby calls me and says to rush down with his suit and a swimmie-diaper for Ronin. I could barely change him into it without him screaming and kicking with excitement. As I began handing Ronin over to Daddy in the pool, the fun and screaming and splashing began.

Here is the video I took on my phone. The quality is not great, and for some reason has been sped up. Also, the sound got cut out when I converted the format via Zamzar.com so check out the full video on Tinypic.com
